Books

Livros definitivamente são o melhor presente que você pode dar a alguém. Um bom livro equivale a uma viagem, ir a muitos lugares, mas sem sair de onde você está. Já perdi a conta de quantas vezes um livro me prendeu de tal forma que enquanto eu lia não escutava nada do que se passava ao me redor.

Hoje eu ganhei mais quatro livros, dois da série "As Aventuras do Caça-Feitiço" e mais dois da série "The 39 Clues". Mais livros pra entrarem na fila dos livros a serem lidos. Ainda estou firme e forte no Hobbit e espero ter terminado de ler até o dia 14 de dezembro.

Sempre gosto de perguntar as pessoas qual o livro (ou série de livros) mais marcou a pessoa. A série de livros que mais me marcou foi Harry Potter. Foi através da Pedra Filosofal que adquiri o gosto pela leitura e desde então não parei mais de ler.

Acredito que a leitura é um habito que deveria ser incentivado em todas as crianças, pois além do fator citado acima, ajuda as pessoas a escreverem e se comunicarem melhor.

Quando terminar de ler essas séries, falo a respeito. (:

You Live, You Learn...

There are a couple of things I've learn in the past six months. The most important of them is: Let go.

Everything that bothers you, everything that makes you feel bad and the most important... everything that keeps you away from the ones you love. As time goes by, you gonna realize that good moments are precious things, that they don't happen very often and that's why you should live them in their totality. Don't waste a nice conversation just because you're pissed off about something, enjoy the conversation and give yourself the opportunity to forget about all the problems that you had during the day. If yo really care about the person, if you truly love him/her you will treat him/her with all the love the person deserves right? ;)

Also, I learned that love DO exist. And there's the right moment and he right time. When we are teenagers we think that everytime is going to be last one. I had the chance to look back into my teenage years while I was teaching english to groups of teenagers. Those were really fun times. I still enjoy teaching them on Saturday mornings. Yes... Saturday... yes... in the morning. But I can handle that because I truly love them and we have a lot of fun together.

So, what I mean is that... when you get older you get way more patient than you used to be when you were younger. Every year your patience increases and that is something awesome. I believe that in the end, patience is the key to happiness because  if you pursuit your dreams and if you keep it in mind that life takes some time to make things happen, you gonna see the results.

The Walking Dead

Acho que a maioria dos fãs da série/HQ já ouviram falar sobre o livro "The Walking Dead - A Ascensão do Governador". Bom, pra quem ficou na dúvida se deveria comprar o livro ou não meu conselho é: Compre! Agora! Aproveite suas férias (pra quem tem mais sorte do que eu e terá férias no final do ano haha) e leia este livro. Não é nem um pouco entediante, não é como aqueles livros que você fica semanas tentando ler e não sai de um capitulo.

Pra quem está assistindo o seriado, ou para os que estão lendo a HQ já há um bom tempo e sempre tiveram curiosidade de saber como começou a história do Governador e como ele se tornou quem é, é uma boa pedida. O final do livro é surpreendente. Li este livro em uma semana. Começava a ler e não conseguia parar. 

Resumindo, o livro conta a história do inicio da jornada do Governador até Woodbury e como ele se tornou o líder de da cidade, a transformação de Penny, o livro é simplesmente incrível. Leitura obrigatória para qualquer fã. 

Agora comecei a preparação para assistir O Hobbit, já havia começado a ler o livro alguns anos atras e parei. Desta vez a porra ficou séria! hahaha

Tear You Apart

People tend to build things, they like to watch it as they take form of something.

But me, well, I'm a little bit different, I like to tear them down, I like to see it on the inside how every little piece connects perfecty, I like to see how once it was before it was done. 

To build something you don't get the same feeling, really not the same feeling that you get from the process of disassemble.
